Switch directory

If your organisation uses more than one Microsoft Entra tenant, Switch Directory lets you work with your PIM roles in another one without leaving Teams.

What you need

Switching only works when all three of these are true:

  1. Your organisation has an active TeamsPIM subscription.
  2. You have a TeamsPIM licence assigned to you.
  3. An administrator has added the other directories to that subscription in the Customer Admin Portal. See Additional directories.

If any of these is missing, you see “Switching directory is not set up”. Ask your administrator.

Switch to another directory

Section titled “Switch to another directory”

  1. In the Dashboard tab, select your name in the top bar.

  2. Select Switch Directory.

  3. Under “Select a tenant directory to switch your current context.”, choose the directory you want.

The top bar shows your tenant ID, so you can check which directory you are working in.
