Bot commands
The TeamsPIM bot is mainly there to send you cards. It answers a few simple commands, but you cannot request or approve anything by typing — requests are made in the Dashboard tab, and approvals on the cards.

I didn’t catch that. I answer help, hello and hi, and approvals happen on the cards I send you. Type help to see what I can do.
The welcome message
Section titled “The welcome message”When TeamsPIM is installed for you, the bot sends a welcome message. It explains that:
- When a PIM request needs your approval, the bot sends you a card in the chat. You add a justification and select Approve or Deny.
- When you raise a request yourself, the bot tracks it on a card and tells you when it is approved or denied.
- To request or activate an eligible role, you open the TeamsPIM tab.
It ends with:
Cards start arriving once your organization’s TeamsPIM subscription is active, your tenant is connected, and a license is assigned to you.
This means you will not get any cards until three things are in place: your organisation’s TeamsPIM subscription is active, your tenant has been set up for TeamsPIM, and an administrator has assigned you a TeamsPIM licence. If you installed TeamsPIM yourself before your organisation finished setting it up, this is expected. See Requirements.
