Subscribe and activate
TeamsPIM is sold as a SaaS offer on Microsoft AppSource and the Azure Marketplace. After you buy it, you activate the subscription on the TeamsPIM landing page. Activation sends a request to Xertone, who reviews it and then sets up TeamsPIM for your tenant.
Who does what
Section titled “Who does what”Several people can be involved. In a small organisation they may all be the same person.

Before you start
Section titled “Before you start”Check the requirements. In short, you need Microsoft Entra Privileged Identity Management in use, with Microsoft Entra ID P2 or Microsoft Entra ID Governance licences for the people who use it, and work or school accounts.
Subscribe and activate
Section titled “Subscribe and activate”-
Get a TeamsPIM subscription. TeamsPIM is offered as a SaaS subscription in Microsoft AppSource and the Azure Marketplace. Each seat is one TeamsPIM licence.

Open the landing page from the Marketplace. Select Configure account now on your new subscription. This opens the TeamsPIM landing page with your subscription attached.
If you open the landing page any other way, it shows “Subscription not found”. Go back to your subscription in AppSource or the Azure Marketplace and start the configuration from there.

Sign in. The page reads “Activate your subscription”. Select Sign in with Microsoft and sign in with the work account that bought the subscription.
If you sign in with a different account, you see “Signed in with a different account”. Select Sign out & switch account and sign in with the purchasing account.

Review your subscription. The page says “Thank you for your subscription” and shows a “Subscription Information:” table: Current User, Email, Subscription Name, Plan Name, Subscription state and Tenant Id. Check the tenant ID is the tenant you want TeamsPIM in.

Select Activate. Under “Available Actions”, select Activate. The “Subscription Activation Request” drawer opens.

Enter your details. Fill in “Company Name” (at least three characters) and “Phone Number”.

Grant admin consent. The drawer reads “To be able to continue you must give Admin consent to the TeamsPIM application”. Select the Admin consent link. It opens Microsoft’s consent page in a new tab, where a Global Administrator reviews and accepts the permissions. When it succeeds, the tab shows “Admin consented successfully. You can close it.”
Back in the drawer, TeamsPIM shows “Verifying admin consent…” and then “Admin consent verified.” See Admin consent if you are not a Global Administrator yourself.

Submit. Submit becomes available once consent is verified. Select it. The page confirms “Your activation request is submitted.” and links to the TeamsPIM Customer Admin Portal, where you can follow the request.
Subscription states
Section titled “Subscription states”The “Subscription state” row on the landing page shows where the Marketplace subscription is.

| Not Started | The subscription exists but setup has not begun. |
| Pending Fulfillment | Waiting for activation. This is the state while your request is reviewed and set up. |
| Subscribed | Active. |
| Suspended | Suspended by Microsoft, for example for a billing problem. |
| Unsubscribed | Cancelled. |
