PIM reports
PIM reports gives an overview of assignments and activations in your organisation, for Entra roles, groups and Azure resources.
Who can see it
Section titled “Who can see it”The PIM reports menu item only appears if you have one of these Microsoft Entra roles active:
- Global Administrator
- Privileged Role Administrator
- Security Administrator
- Global Reader
- Security Reader
If you are only eligible for one of these roles, activate it first.
What is in it
Section titled “What is in it”Each type has its own report with:
- Assignment distribution — a chart of how assignments are split.
- Roles by assignment — a table of Role, Scope, Eligible and Active.
- Activations over the last 7 days.
- Totals for Activations, “New eligible members” and “New active members”.
- Activity by role (last 30 days).
Groups
Section titled “Groups”The assignment snapshot for groups is empty. This is a limitation of the Microsoft Graph data available for PIM for Groups, not a sign that you have no group assignments.
